The official website of Tokimeki Memorial Girls’ Side 3rd Story has opened! I will summarise the information released so far in this post.
Some information on the gameplay before I move on to the characters~
- The game takes place at Habataki academy, seven years after Tokimeki Memorial Girls’ Side 1st Love.
- Similar to 1st and 2nd, the bishies can pronounce your name.
- Similar to 1st and 2nd, you can touch bishies with your stylus (the most important point for me).
- Similar to 1st and 2nd, you have a lot of freedom – you can go shopping downtown; you can take a part-time job; you can join an after school activity club… etc.
- If the protagonist gets along with two guys at once, she can go out with both of them on a date! That means YOU CAN GO OUT WITH BOTH THE SAKURAI BROTHERS!
- The touching mode after the date (activated when the bishie escorts you home) will have animated effects!
(voiced by Sugita Tomokazu hopefully Ruka will sound different from Gintoki otherwise I would think of all those dirty jokes in the series)
- Dyed his hair. His original hair colour is white?! (Is he an old man in disguise?)
- No one knows where he lives. He doesn’t take the bus or the train back home.
- Loves sweet food!
- Looks like a bad boy, but is he really a bad boy?
- Everyone knows that there is something unusual about him. Nevertheless he is liked by everyone.
- Doesn’t go to classes sometimes.
- Likes tall places.
- Works in a florist.

- The stubborn prince: the complete opposite of Ruka.
- The older brother of Ruka.
- Looks after Ruka well, who is helpless with housework.
- Likes the American way of life in 1960-1970 (so he can be a little old-fashion).
- Likes motor-bikes and cars. Works at a petrol station.
- He can be deceived easily?!
Some additional information on Ruka and Kouichi’s relationship~
- The Sakurai brothers are very well-known: everyone is scared of them.
- Get on well with each other (it is a common fact in Habataki academy). Kouchi often give Ruka a lift on his Yamaha SR400 (Even though Ruka is better at driving, he always asks Kouichi for a lift).
- Have known the protagonist since they were young. They are in the same year at school with the protagonist too.
- Living by themselves in an abandoned restaurant. They collect useable items and furnitures from the streets to make their place fit for living.
- Rely on each other so much that they have formed a barrier from the outside world, which makes it difficult for them to involve other people in their lives.
- Usually Kouichi cooks. Ruka can only make pancakes!

- Very good at sports. Best at Judo.
- Eats a lot everyday.
- Trying to get people to join the newly set-up Judo club.
- Can be a little clueless sometimes.
(voiced by Kisaichi Atsushi)
- Friendly; happy and optimistic.
- Has two ear-holes on his left ear.
- Gets along with people easily.
- Takes notes of his appearance and follows the latest trends.
- Good at both sports and studies.
- Popular in Habataki academy. He is a fan of a certain model (Definitely Hazuki right?).
- Spends ages doing his hair, therefore he doesn’t like people touching it.
- Chat up girls regularly, but he doesn’t take the initiative to go one step further!?

- A gentle and reliable person! You can talk to him about anything!
- Gets scared and can’t walk properly without his glasses.
- His sister attended Habataki academy in the past.
(voiced by Tachibana Shinnosuke nooo Saariya is turning into a spoiled bratl…!)
- The protagonist’s innocent and rich senpai.
- A genius in playing the piano.
- Rumoured that he has a fan-club outside of Habataki academy.
- Some people thinks that he looks like Beethoven (*DIES*)
- Since he is rich, his shirt and his tie are different from everyone else’s.
- Pampered by his family, which makes him quite selfish.
- Prideful and has a bad-mouth.
From first impression, I am interested in Ruka and Koi the most! Sakurai brothers’ fight over the protagonist will be interesting… *evil grins*! Which character do you like most?
